Facilities at Silver Leys Polo Club
Silver Leys Polo Club has acquired a permanent home and the use of 180 acres in idealic surroundings.

There are three grounds, two of which are boarded and approximately 130 acres of grassland bounded by a 2km canter track. The No,1 Tournament ground is fully irrigated and adjoining a traditional Clubhouse and bar. There is sufficient summer grazing (approximately 30 acres) available to members who may wish to keep horses at the Club. The remaining 100 acres is available for winter turnout.

Siler Leys Polo Club has a full time Manager Mr Humi Pizarro to organise Tournaments and Chukkas on Tuesday, Thursday evenings and weekends. Humi will assist members who require summer grazing, grass livery, winter turnout or to hire horses and provide grooms to assist in exercise or schooling.

“Attridges Polo”, Mr Andrew Mathies, has a livery yard at the Club and also provides lessons. Andrew runs a very popular ‘Instructional Chukkas’ programme on Tuesday evenings.

The Club is friendly and casual, open all day and every day for members who wish to stick and ball or merely ride out around the grounds or on numerous byways and bridleways in the surrounding countryside.
